KATHMANDU: Two teams of Bright Future, St Xavier’s School and Mangal Deep School advanced to the semi-finals of the first Bright Valleywide Inter-school Girls’ Futsal Tournament here at the Adarsha Futsal on Tuesday.
Bright Future ‘A’ defeated Chhahari Sikshya Sadan 8-0 before beating Amar School 3-0. Likewise, the hosts ‘C’ team registered a 1-0 victory over Green Tara and defeated Paradise School 2-0.
In the league round matches, St Xavier’s beat Bright Future ‘B’ and Paradise School by identical 2-0 scores.
Similarly, Mangal Deep beat Paradise 2-0 and defeated Little Bird 3-0.
The semi-finals, third-place and final matches will be held on Wednesday.
