- ECB confirms there will be no professional matches before 1 July
- West Indies series slated for June to be rescheduled
The England and Wales Cricket Board has been forced to issue a further delay to the start of the season but a decision over whether to mothball The Hundred for 12 months has been pushed back to next week.
In a statement issued on Friday morning, following a board meeting the evening before, the ECB confirmed that no professional matches will take place before 1 July due to the Covid-19 pandemic as they continue to wait for a green light from the government.
