KATHMANDU: With two gold and a bronze in golf, Nepal’s medal tally has reached a total of 39 gold, 27 silver and 41 bronze medals, in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SAG).
Subash Tamang won a gold in the men’s individual category of golf leaving behind Bangladeshi golfer Mahommad Farhad, making a history of Nepal winning its first gold in golf. Likewise, Sukra Bahadur Rai secured the bronze medal in the same event.
Similarly, in the men’s team category of golf, a team of four including Tamang, Rai, Tanka Bahadur Karki and Niraj Tamang added another gold in Nepal’s bag.
