KATHMANDU: The electoral congress of Asian BodyBuilding and Physic Sports Federation on Sunday nominated Nepal BodyBuilding and Fitness Association President Rajesh Babu Shrestha as the vice-president for the second straight time.
The congress, which was held on the sidelines of the 53rd Asian BodyBuilding and Physic Sports Championship in Batam, Indonesia, also approved Nepal as the host of the 55th edition of the Championship, informed Nepal BodyBuilding and Fitness Association Vice-president and Spokesperson Dinesh Rajbhandari in a release.
“Nepal had requested the Asian body to give the hosting rights of the 54th edition in a bid to promote Visit Nepal Year 2020 but the congress awarded that to Maldives on first-come-first-serve basis.”
