Kathmandu, September 23
The third edition of the Invitational Golf Tournament organised by Baahrakhari Media is slated for next month.
The tournament, presented by Ncell, is divided into two parts. In the first section, around 40 golfers from corporate sector will play the par-3 hole on the lap of Kongde Ri mountain on October 20, informed the organisers at a press meet today.
In the second part, the golfers will play 17 holes at the Gokarna Golf Club on October 26, while other 60 players will play full rounds. Gokarna Forest Resort is preparing the facility at Kongde Ri at an altitude of 2,450 metres in Everest region and according to the organisers, the event will be the first of its kind to be played at the highest altitude.
Nepal Tourism Board and Visit Nepal Year 2020 along with Bhatbhateni Super Market, Chivas Regal, Thai Airways, Carlsberg, Global IME Bank and Tata Motors are the partners of the event.
