LALITPUR: Far-western Football Club stunned Manang Marshyangdi Club 4-2 in the Lalit Memorial U-18 Championship here at the ANFA Complex grounds on Monday.
Karlosh Barkhariya opened the scoring for MMC in 18th minute but Rajiv Chaudhary levelled the scores a minute later. MMC restored the lead through Binay Karki’s goal in the 43rd minute.
Far-west hit back with three goals in the space of eight minutes to seal the victory. Kiran Bohara scored the equaliser in the 78th minute before Bijay Chhetry and Nabin Bhattarai found the back of the nets.
In another match, Himalayan Sherpa thrashed Three Star Club 6-2.
Sanjay Dhimal scored five goals alone for Himalayan Sherpa, while Anil Ale Magar added another.
Nirajan Maharjan and Jenish Prajapati replied for Three Star.
