KATHMANDU: The price of precious metals has increased today. Gold price was set at Rs 58,100 per tola when the market opened on Wednesday.
The price of the yellow metal has increased by Rs 100 per tola compared to yesterday’s trading prices. The precious metal was traded at 58,000 per tola on Tuesday, Monday and Sunday.
Meanwhile, silver gained Rs 5 per tola. The white metal price set for Rs 765 per tola today had remained constant at Rs 760 per tola for the last three days.
Gold prices remained constant for the last three days following a slump that began sometime around late-May. On May 25, gold was traded at Rs 59,200 per tola while silver price reached Rs 780/tola.
The price of precious metals in the domestic market is governed by their rates set in the international market.
