KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Palesha Gobardhan won the bronze medal in the fourth Asian Para Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam.
Gobardhan defeated her Turkey opponent before losing to a player from Uzbekistan in the women’s 58kg weight section of the K44 category, informed Nepal Taekwondo Association Secretary and spokesperson Deepak Bista.
Other Nepali players, Ram Bahadur Adhikari, Govinda Thapa and Sita Bhandari lost their bouts. — HNS
