KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Table Tennis Association is organising the second Samjhana Cup National Open Table Tennis Tournament here at the Lainchaur covered hall from Saturday.
A total of 350 players will take part in the tournament which features 11 events, informed the organisers at a press meet on Wednesday.
Top three players in men’s singles and women’s singles will earn Rs 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 12,500 respectively apart from berths in the Wirld Table Tennis Championship to be held in Budapest, Hungary from Alril 21-28.
Likewise, the winners in veteran singles will get Rs 10,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 2,500.
