TiVo’s new streaming apps will be limited to 720p and 30 fps

At CES 2019, TiVo announced that it will begin offering a new streaming app for the Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV streaming devices later this year, which will allow users stream live and recorded shows in their home without investing in separate hardware like the TiVo Mini Vox. But according to an interview with Ted Malone, TiVo’s VP of consumer products and services, those apps will be pretty limited, only offering streaming at 720p quality and 30 fps, via TechHive.
