KATHMANDU: Futsal Arena won the title of the second Mahila Premier League.
Futsal Arena accumulated 21 points to lift the trophy after beating Pasang College 6-2 in the final round match.
Pasang College came second with 18 points. Sunkala Rai of Pasang College and Manisha Thapa Magar of Futsal Arena, who scored 32 and 22 goals respectively, won the golden boot awards, while Jharana Nagarkoti of Futsal Arena and Jharana Bayung Rai of Pasang College bagged the golden glove awards respectively.
Also, Kumari Futsal hammered Barca Nepal 10-2 to finish third with 17 points.
In other matches of the final round, FC S Yes played a 3-3 draw with Mighty Mahilas and MUFC Nepal Girls thrashed NMB Bank 8-1. FC S Yes, MUFC Nepal Girls and Mighty Mahilas earned 13 points each and finished fourth, fifth and sixth respectively on goal difference, whereas Barca Nepal earned nine and NMB Bank accumulated six.
