KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange index today registered an 11.92 points increment to shut at 1219.20.
Similarly, the sensitive index, which measures the performance of class ‘A’ stocks, also surged by 2.51 points and stood at 259.32.
The total 822,207 shares of 115 companies were traded at over Rs 280 million.
Banking made 11.52 points gain, while hotel 37.62, development bank 13.59, hydropower 7.59 and finance 2.07.
Likewise, non-life insurance increased by 87.45 points, and production by 0.7, microfinance by 17.98, life insurance by 49.62 and others by 2.9.
