KATHMANDU: A friendly football match between Nepal and Afghanistan scheduled for coming December 13 has been canceled.
According to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), the match was withdrawn from its schedule as Afghanistan announced not to take part in the event at the eleventh hour, citing technical causes.
As ANFA general secretary Indraman Tuladhar informs, Afghanistan said that it was not participating in the match when Nepal was preparing for so. “The process of taking further details about the decision is going on.”
