DAMAULI: Rangrung Youth Club won the title of the Open Volleyball Tournament organised during the Lions Festival here at the Suklagandaki Municipality on Sunday.
Rangrung defeated Baidi Boys Union in straight sets to win the trophy along with Rs 100,500. Baidi Boys received Rs 75,000. Seven Boys Club finished third and earned Es 20,000.
Lokman Shrestha of Rangrung was named the best player of the tournament.
A total of 16 teams took part in the tournament. Member of Parliament of Gandaki Province Asha Koirala handed over the prizes to the winners.
