The pitch at Wembley is really cutting up. It’s grass of course, but is apparently made up from about 5% plastic, although I’m not really sure how. Still, it doesn’t look pretty.
There are 84,000 people in the stadium, by the way. That’s more than came to watch the soccer match between England and Spain last month. Impressive.
Seahawks 14-0 Raiders, 4:40, 2nd quarter
Seattle get a first down straight away, before Wilson airs it out from the 40-yard line. The throw is just too long for Doug Baldwin, who was free in the endzone but just couldn’t reach it despite flat out sprinting. 3rd and 4 then, and Seattle call for a timeout.
