DAMAULI: The ninth sports festival being organised by National PABSON, Tanahun Chapter has begun from Wednesday in Damauli of Tanahun district.
The festival that will last until December 13 was inaugurated by the central chairperson of National PABSON, Ritu Raj Sapkota.
In the programme, Sapkota said that various recreational sports competitions were needed for the well-being of the students that will help them improve their physical, mental and emotional development.
Speaking at the programme, speakers including education chief at Byas Municipality Nagendra Prasad Regmi, National PABSON’s Tanahun chair Ram Krishna BK stressed that such competition will further encourage students to pursue their studies and will help produce national players.
In the competition, 665 players from 39 schools will participate in 22 events.
